Earn Money During Retirement

retirement

Everyone dreams of enjoying a relaxing, healthy and carefree retirement. But the rising cost of living and healthcare expenses over the past decade can put these plans on hold. In some cases due to poor performance of the stock market, pensions or other investment funds may not have provided the expected returns. Then as retirement approaches, many find that they don’t have enough in their nest egg to cover the lifestyle they have imagined. Continuing to work is an option, but there are alternatives.

One solution which is gaining in popularity is direct sales, also known as network marketing. Direct selling programs generally offer a low startup cost, have a set system to follow, and provide training & support to get you started.

How it works:

Direct sales is simply a different method of promoting and distributing products and services. Instead of spending large amounts of money on traditional marketing and advertising, that money is paid as commissions to its distributors.

It’s important to find a product or service which you have confidence in promoting, one which you have used yourself and are happy with the results. If the product has helped you, you will automatically share with others.

Keep in mind that direct sales is not a get rich quick scheme. It requires hard work and persistence and may take a while to develop a healthy income. It doesn’t happen overnight!

Other benefits:

Financial reasons aside there are some other benefits which retirees can enjoy through being part of a network marketing team. Such as social interaction, learning something new, and continued activity.

Going forward the idea of starting a direct selling or small home based business to generate a retirement income may well become an important part of the modern day retirement plan.

Who knows! With a solid residual income you may even consider early retirement.

You are very correct about network marketing being a huge source of income for retired workers. This is because of its recurring income structure.

If you signup to a product that’s highly in demand, develop your network quite well, that can keep generating income as long as the product sales.

Thanks for helping us with real materia Brian

hope the year is starting great for you too 😉

True, it does not happen overnight. I find that a lot of people don’t seem to understand that and give up far to early. Great article!

You’re spot on there Diamantina. Many people give in just before they start seeing success.

Small businesses rock Brian – especially home businesses – because if we work ’em, we can earn income at any time from anywhere on earth. I’m big on the “anywhere on earth” aspect lol! Thanks much for sharing!

That’s a very point Ryan. If the company you decide to get involved with has a global presence it doesn’t matter where you are. You have the flexibility to relocate without having to start over from scratch. That’s a big plus in my book too.

      Thanks for your comment.
